IRODDI project celebrates the 7th annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2022
Science and gender equality are both vital for the achievement of the internationally agreed development goals, including the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Over the past decades, the global community has made a lot of effort in inspiring and engaging women and girls in science.
In order to achieve full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls, and further achieve gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, the United Nations General Assembly declared 11 February as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science in 2015. In celebration of the 7th annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we’re shining a light on the 25 brilliant women who are part of IRODDI project, doing extraordinary research to achieve new sustainable, efficient and circular processes and bio-based products, and boosting the development of the bioeconomy in Europe.
All the IRODDI female team wishes to celebrate this special day acknowledging for being able to develop their professional careers dedicated to science, providing innovative solutions to solve the great challenges of our society.
