BIOPLAT, present at the 32nd European Biomass Conference (EUBCE) in Marseille

BIOPLAT will actively participate during the 32nd European Biomass Conference (EUBCE), which will take place next week between 24-27 June in Marseille, France.

Margarita de Gregorio, Secretary General of BIOPLAT, will participate as Secretary of EERA Bioenergy in the workshop that the Joint Programme will organise on Tuesday 25th June from 11:00 to 13:00 CET. There she will moderate the colloquium dedicated to the “Challenges of bioenergy, biogas and biofuels in a context of recovery of energy sovereignty”, from the point of view of the private sector. In this same workshop, the EERA Bioenergy position paper on R&D&I gaps in bioenergy, biogas and biofuels will also be presented.

The following day, Margarita de Gregorio will take part in the workshop organised by the Horizon Europe project HYFUELUP, in which BIOPLAT is in charge of Communication and Dissemination. The workshop, which will take place on Wednesday 26 June from 9:30 to 11:30 (CET), will present the progress, innovations, opportunities and results of this project, which aims to demonstrate a flexible pathway for the efficient and cost-effective production of biomethane using thermochemical technologies combined with renewable hydrogen. Margarita de Gregorio will moderate the round table on ‘Challenges and perspectives of innovative biomethane technologies and market’, in which representatives from other EU-funded biomethane projects will provide different perspectives on this topic.
