BIOPLAT, national partner of the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE 2025), to be held in Valencia from 9 to 12 June

This year, the 33rd European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE 2025) will be held in Valencia, from 9 to 12 June, and BIOPLAT will act as a national partner, supporting the organisation of the meeting. This event, one of the most relevant in our field at European level, is a unique opportunity to give visibility and recognition to the national biocircularity sector.

The conference is not only of great interest to all the professionals who participate each year for its content and analysis of the trends that will drive the biocircularity sector in the coming years, but also for the opportunities to connect with leaders in science, industry and decision makers.

To make it easier for BIOPLAT members to get in touch with other experts in the biomass sector and share the work being done in this field in our country, the Platform is working to obtain exclusive advantageous conditions.

Late call for papers: open until May 3rd

EUBCE 2025 has extended the deadline for researchers and experts shaping the future of the biomass sector to submit a late abstract after the official deadline. Abstracts can be uploaded directly on the EUBCE website or by contacting the organisers at papers@etaflorence.it until 3 May.

These are the 7 proposed topics of interest:

Topic 1 – Sustainable resources for decarbonising the economy
Topic 2 – Sustainability, impacts, policies and systems analysis
Topic 3 – Biomass, bio-based products and bioenergy integration
Topic 4 – Biomass conversion for bioenergy
Topic 5 – Biomass conversion to intermediate bioenergy carriers and sustainable biofuels
Topic 6 – Biomass conversion to biomaterials and chemicals
Topic 7 – Industry topics

Abstracts submitted by these dates (Late Abstracts) still have a chance to be selected by the International Scientific Committee, composed of more than 150 experts, to be presented in poster format (on display for 4 days). The host country is usually the one that shares the most papers to present its capabilities, so participation is key to showcase the progress of the national sector in this great European showcase.
