Margarita de Gregorio gives a session on bioenergy at the ERMA Master (UPM)
Margarita de Gregorio, general secretary of BIOPLAT, is part of the panel of experts teaching the 18th edition of the Máster en Energías Renovables y Medio Ambiente (ERMA) de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), coordinated by Julio Amador Guerra and in which BIOPLAT is a collaborating entity.
On 4 April, de Gregorio gave a session dedicated to ‘Thermosolar Energy and Bioenergy’, a module led by Mathieu Legrand. In her intervention, she focused on sharing with the students information on the sources and transformation of biomass for energy use, as well as technologies applicable with biomass and biogas.
The ERMA Master’s Degree is a training programme in engineering applied to renewable energy projects and processes, organised and taught at the UPM’s School of Engineering and Industrial Design. During nine months, students increase their learning about the latest technological developments in renewable energies, as well as the latest regulatory changes affecting renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
The teaching staff is made up of 130 experts from the professional sector, leading research centres in the renewable sector and the university.
